Golf Scotland - As the "home of golf", you'd expect Scotland to have a top site covering the sport - and here it is. Courses, history, up-to-date news and the inevitable club shop - it appears to have almost everything a golfer would want.

National Museums of Scotland - No lack of patriotism or pride in this site dedicated to Scotland and its long history. World class museums and galleries well worth a visit ... and if you can't get to them, you can visit the virtual "24-hour Museum" from here.

The Gathering of the Clans - History and chat sites here for dozens of Scottish clans, from the Agnews of Galloway to the Wallaces of Ayrshire/Renfrewshire (and yes, the MacTavishes are in there, too). A very good Canadian site.
