PETERHEAD
E-BUSINESS WINS CENTRAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACT
Zincweb Internet were recently contracted
to register 161 website domain names for the Office of the E-envoy.
The
Government e-delivery team, working on behalf of the Cabinet Office,
chose Zincweb Internet, (an e-commerce, web site design and hosting
agency based just outside Peterhead, Aberdeenshire), to provide
these services despite vigorous competition by companies based south
of the border.
The
Managing Partner of Zincweb Internet, Mark Chinery, commented, "We
were pleased to be chosen over a plethora of other companies offering
similar services. We have learned over the past 5 years that our
attractiveness lies not only in our pricing philosophy, but also
in the standard of customer service we provide. We treat each client,
whether a government agency, defence contractor or sole-trader,
with the same amount of support and respect. This has now paid dividends.
As with any business, word-of-mouth is the most important and cost-effective
means of referring new business and we intend to continue this process.
We are especially pleased to prove that the North East of Scotland,
despite the many recent economic downturns, is able to drive this
type of business forward and is being recognised in competition
with its peers in other areas of the UK. Our turnover has doubled
in the past year and we aim to continue this trend".
