ChinnerZinc web site design agency, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Zincweb Internet. Why this picture? So that you'll ask "why this picture?" Is it a handstand upside down, or someone jumping to reach higher? You decide. But at least you'll remember it.

Thanks again for all your hard work - the site looks fab - we are well pleased - customer testimonial

Customers using BT Yahoo! Broadband may find that they are now unable to send emails from Standard POP3 mailboxes. This is due to a security update by BT, who have today announced that they are now preventing BT Yahoo! Broadband users from sending emails from software such as Microsoft Outlook and Thunderbird, when the "From" email address is not a BT Yahoo! email address or a "validated alternative email address". Please refer to the BT Yahoo! Service Status page for more details.

We would like to remind customers that we can provide "Roaming SMTP" with Advanced and Microsoft Exchange mailboxes, enabling you to send email using your PC software, regardless of your broadband provider. Prices start from £20 per annum ex VAT.

You may have noticed an increase in the levels of spam you receive. This is part of a global surge in spam, largely caused by two trojans.

SecurityFocus.com reports: "experts agree that an uncommon surge in spam is occurring. On the low side, Symantec, the owner of SecurityFocus, has found that average spam volume has increased almost 30 percent for its 35,000 clients in the last two months. Others have seen much more significant jumps..."

We maintain up to date spam filters on advanced accounts and are doing everything that we can to fight the current surge in spam. You can read more on the spam surge at:

Website visitors may be asked to click on such content before they are able to use it.

All Internet Explorer users are affected by this update, which is in response to a lawsuit brought by Eolas Technologies, holder of a patent on embedded content in web pages. Both Microsoft and Adobe/Macromedia have guides on how you can use JavaScript to make your content work as intended:

If your website visitors use a non-Microsoft browser, such as Firefox or Safari, they won’t be affected for the time being.
